Revelation

Revelation is not something you can dig out of a theology book or study guide. It's not even something you can unravel in the bible all by yourself. Revelation is locked up in a realm the Bible calls "mystery." A mystery cannot be hunted down and trapped like an animal. It can't be discovered by persistent searching. It must be revealed. We don't unlock mysteries; they are unlocked for us. And they are only unlocked and revealed to those who hunger for them. Jesus said He concealed truth in parables so it remained a mystery to some, but not for others. In the same way He put gold in the rocks and said, "If you want it, go find it and dig it out." the Bible says, It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter" (Proverbs 25:2)

Intercession

I just a read a book by Kenneth E. Hagin called "The Art of Intercession". It is pretty eye opening. It talks about why we need to pray, what the prayer of intercession is, our need for intercession, Jesus who is our Intercessor, The Holy Spirit who helps us intercede, and that is just the tip of the iceburg. At the least, this book has helped my hunger for more of the Word and to honestly, fervently seek Jesus. I'm just tired of the monotonous Christian life we are accustomed to. The 'real' Christian life is anywhere away from boring...just look in the Scriptures. Anyways if you are hungering for a deeper relationship with Jesus, I would totally recommend reading the Bible first and foremost, maybe perhaps take a glance Hagin's book.

The now and not yet.

Recently, As Christians go, I've noticed we either lose sight of the big picture or the task at hand. We need both. Jesus was the perfect example of the both. The Kingdom of Heaven was with Him here on earth as well as for eternity and forever. I think something we overlook is that when we are born again, essentially eternity starts immediately as we say yes to Jesus, But sometimes we look forward to what eternity will be like rather than living in eternity now. weird. Jesus seemed to have lived in both. What do you think? I don't know.

I want Jesus to be my number one.

I think when we put Jesus as number one, meaning we put everything we possibly have for Him and our attention and goal is on Him, our love and affection; He gives us the ability to love even better the things which are important to us. So I ask Lord that I seek Your face...that I may be less...to let you in.

Psalm 67

This is week has been fantastic. God has been revealing more and more. Therefore, I am joyed and thankful for His goodness.
I read this Psalm today and well...did you know you can pray to God for a blessing on yourself? It makes sense though...If we are to be like Jesus, we should definitely have the blessing and favor of the Father upon us. Jesus did and He walked in it. So why aren't we asking for His blessings and giving it to other people? I want to start as soon as possible.

Psalm 67

To the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A Psalm. A Song.

1 God be merciful to us and bless us,
And cause His face to shine upon us, Selah
2 That Your way may be known on earth,
Your salvation among all nations.

3 Let the peoples praise You, O God;
Let all the peoples praise You.
4 Oh, let the nations be glad and sing for joy!
For You shall judge the people righteously,
And govern the nations on earth. Selah

5 Let the peoples praise You, O God;
Let all the peoples praise You.
6 Then the earth shall yield her increase;
God, our own God, shall bless us.
7 God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.

A few questions I asked myself recently,

Should our theology come from the person of Jesus?

Was it Jesus' purpose was to reveal the Father?

If so, did Jesus reveal the Father to an orphaned world?

Is Jesus the exact representation as the Father?

For me, its yes...yes...erm yes...uh yeah definitely!

A few thoughts,

I've been thinking about Jesus and what He did.It seems as though Jesus prayed and fasted in the kingdom/realm of the Father. The heavenly places. Thats where we should be. We generally pray and fast during/for crisis or trouble...but rarely if ever are we ever in. I don't know about you but I want to dwell in the kingdom of God here on this earth. I am not trying be mystical or hyperspiritual; but I want to do the things Jesus commanded us to do. no excuses.

I suppose that enough for today. I'm just thankful Im no longer sick.
So many more thoughts, yet so late...time for bed.

You are good

We've been doing this song at church for few months now.

Its lyrics are composed thankfully, praisefully, and worshipfully.

It literally helps me shape my day, proclaiming what God has done,

is doing, and will do in my life and the life of others because He is good.

You know where it says, (paraphrasing) "its your kindness is intended to lead us to repentance."

Maybe this is just me, but I feel like a lot of people don't like that word repentance. I know I

don't sometimes. But now that I have realize that it also means freedom, peace, and rest...

...I know that God is good and has favor upon me...not withholding from the corrections and

consequences that God must do in order show His unfailing love.

Bah. what do I know.

Wait! I know that God is good!

You are Good

I want to scream it out

From every mountain top

Your goodness knows no bounds

Your goodness never stops

Your mercy follows me

Your kindness fills my life

Your Love amazes me

I sing because You are good

And I dance because You are good

And I shout because You are good

You are good to me to me

Nothing and no one comes

Anywhere close to You

The earth and oceans deep

Only reflect this truth

And in my darkest night

You shine as bright as day

Your Love amazes me

With a cry of praise my heart will proclaim

You are good You are good

In the Sun or rain my life celebrates

You are good You are good

With a cry of praise my heart will proclaim

You are good You are good

In the Sun or rain my life celebrates

You are good You are good

I sing because You are good

And I dance because You are good

And I shout because You are good

You are good to me to me
